Challenge: To find a way to encourage prospective customers who test-drove a vehicle at a local car dealership to come back to the showroom, greatly increasing the possibility of closing a sale.
Rivkind’s Solution: We created a 1:1 marketing program. Each prospect was entered into a database, and within 48 hours a variable data personalized postcard (see below) was mailed to them. It displayed the vehicle they drove, the name and contact information of their salesperson and copy enticing them to return. The entire cost of the first year of the program was covered by the sale of just one vehicle!



Challenge: A local college was purchasing description sheets of the programs of study it offered. Because they were being printed offset, they were often times produced in greater quantities than was necessary. This resulted in material either being wasted or used with outdated information.

at the time, we print each version in
quantities ranging from 50 to 500. This
type of flexible solution has proven to
be far more valuable in terms of both
the cost and effectiveness of each piece.


 Challenge: To produce and mail a bimonthly newsletter – in just 24 hours!
Rivkind’s Solution: In cooperation with our client, we established a schedule for the entire year that would allow enough time for writing and producing each issue of the newsletter. Within the allotted time, we are able to receive copy, layout, proof, print and mail. By understanding the client’s needs and working together, we were able to develop a solution that enabled execution of the project within the required timeframe, without compromising the final product. As a result, an issue has not been late in 29 years!
